Super Blood Moon
The Super Blood Moon of August 2023 rises over a corn crib in central Iowa. This photograph is a unique celestial event that only occurs when a full moon coincides with a lunar eclipse. This well preserved corn crib proved to be the perfect foreground to complement the incredible experience. I love the glow of the moon as the earth blocks the light from the sun. The eery purple hue of the sky is such an incredibly rich color, and really helps to demonstrate how unique and beautiful these events are.
